The survey of the water temperature gets increasingly important. For this we offer our approved water level meters also with the additional measurement of temperature. It incluedes the poly ethylen flat cable with the stabil non-rusting steel laces and pressed in high-exact measuring division. This cable is especially suitable for the application in water and has a low weight. The cross-section formed like a dumb-bell avoids adhesion on wet surfaces and tube walls. We also kept the diameter of 15mm, which is also suitable for most narrow drillings , the light hand drumb (pict. 1) and the stabil galvanized stand frame (pict. 2) as well as the power supply by four 1.5V batteries, you can change without problems. The sealing for the use in high depth under the water surface (e.g. for taking temperature profiles) and the crack protection above are improved.

Working method:

As soon as the zero point of the plummet reaches the water surface (in switch setting= “ON"), the LCD-display turns on. Contemporaneously (in switch setting ="HORN") a buzzer sound turns on. The exact depth of the water level is taken from the measuring cable.

After a short acclimation time, the display shows the water temperature with a resolution of 0.1 °C. The buzzer as main current consumer can be deactivated. A recently developed semi-conductor-temperature probe, high quality electronic components and the seperate calibration of each single device guaranties highest accuracy and aging resistance as well as inpassivity to thermo voltage and inductive influence.

Automatic-Off- and Low-Battery- Function: Independend from the "ON/OFF"-switch the device is turned automatically OFF as soon as the water level meter is situated out of the water (battery saving function). When the batteries need to be changed, the display shows the warning letters "LOBAT".

On demand the plummet can be manufactured out of non-corrosive steel with a TEFLON-isolation.

For the transport and for the protection of the devices we offer leather bags with shoulder straps (up to 50 m length) and  leather pouches with lace fastening  (for 80 - 500 m length).

Lot: Ø 15mm, approx. 200mm long nickel-plated messing electrode. A non-corrosive steel electrode with teflon isolation is optionally available. Special sealing and bend protection, pressure tight for up to 40bar.

cable reel: Light cable reel with heardly breakable steel plates (15-50m length, like picture 1) or stable, zinc-plated iron frame  (80-500m length, like picture 2).

Temperature measuring range: -5 to +60 °C, resolution=0,1 °C, usage and display for higher temperatures is possible 

Accuracy: 0 to 25 °C: ± 0,1 °C, -5 to + 60 °C: ± 0,2 °C

Temperature acclimatisation time: 10 sec.
