The device is suitable to find out the depth of bore holes or water bodies. The diameter of the massive plummet is 30 mm Ø. The weight is  approx. 1.5 kg (without cable wheel).

For 50 and 100 m depth, the device can also be delivered with stainless steel cable with a cm-partition and aluminium frame.

For depth more than 100 m we use a special wire that is free of twists and with a high tensile strength. The wire diameter is 1,5 mm Ø. Accuracy: Soldered perforated ears show the actual depth in 1-meter-distance (ordering-nr. LO21, LO41 and LO51) or in 5-meter distance (ordering-nr. LO25, LO45 and LO55).

The stainless steel cable is situated on a wheel with strong zinc-plated steel frame.

On demand we produce cable-plummets in special length from 50 up to 1000 m length. .

The device serves for exploring the fix underground of drillings and water. It possesses a massiv plumb with 30 mm Ø and approx. 1.5 kg weithg. For 50 and 100 m depth the device can also be supplied with a non-rusting steel-measuring cable with cm division in an aluminium flat frame (pict. 1). For depths of more than 100 m a special wire rope with hight tensile strength is used. The wire rope has got a 1.5 mm Ø and eyes with the meter number, selectable each meter (article no. LO21, LO41 and LO51) or all five meters (article no. LO25, LO45 and LO55). The wire rope is on a drumb with a stabile galvanized stand frame like the cable water level meters with more than 80 m length (pict. 2). Upon request the wire rope plumb lines are manufactured in special lengths from 50 to over 100 meters.
