The automatical gage recorder QP1 was developped as
replacement for the approved SPOHR level no. 212, which has been used in
many cases for decades to the full satisfaction of its users. Besides of the
use of modern materials and technologies essential value was set again on a
user-friendly construction with high accuracy and reliability.
The recorder possesses an electronically switchable, quartz-controlled drum
engine and a two-cell housing of glasfibre strengthened polyester so that
the device can be installed unprotected outside. Six different registration
ranges and twelve various drum-speeds can be choosen.
Working method
The changes in water level are submitted over a cable
with buoyancy chamber, balance weight and over wheels in selectable
transmission ratio (registrating scale) on a pen. This pen records and
scales down the water level changes in a diagram paper which rotates with
the predefined speed. Therefore the exact water level changes can be read
out chronologically.
Special advantages:
-
The housing material glasfibre-strengthened polyester (proved and tested
in boat building and for the construction for junction boxes) is
weatherproof, has a low weight and a high stability.
-
separated chambers for the registration device and floating tube protect
the gage recorder from ascending humidity. Cause to the locking door at
the back side of the gage (Picture 2) the floating tube is easily
accessible. An air ventilation of the chambers prevent from the
condensing of water.
-
The optionally hot zinc-dipped mounting plate available. With the
mounting plate the gage can be easily mounted and easily vertically
justified.
-
The incapsulated step-controlling clockwork is an easy longlife
construction for outdoor usage. The controlling of this clockwork in modern CMOS-technology
is characterized by trouble-free starting-up, quarz-accuracy, low power
consumption and reliableness. The drum engine speed can be easily
selected by a turn-switch (picture 3) and therefore be adjusted to the
required recording accuracy. The power consuption decreases with
increasing time of circulation. With the display for the battery-control
the actual state of the battery can be controlled easily.
-
The six different registration ranges can be easily adjusted by
reallocation of the floating cable and change of the plastic-gearwheel.
-
An accurate construction of all constructive details guarantees highest
accuracy, smooth running and error-free registration.
All parts of the device are non-corrosive.
