EASYLOG - Remote pickup system
for EASYLOG- signal logger
With help of the software GSOFT 40K it is possible, beside of the handling of
local data loggers, to work and read out signal loggers which are far away from
the working place and are only connected via a MODEM with the telephone
net.
There is no extra computer neccessary!
The following setup is sufficient:
When executing "connect logger" according to your choice a local
serial interface (as usual) or a telephone connection is being opened.
Reading out of the logger lasts hardly longer than used, the compete logger-handling
is also given via telephone connection.
Analogue-Modems are being supported, they can also be connected via standard
terminal adapters with ISDN. The industrial modem of the remote pickup
site ist a industrial
modem (MODEM 1000, MODEM 2000 HS, MODEM 3000 GSM) specially designed for EASYBUS,
as workplace modems standard
modems can be used.
Expanded setup with alarm via SMS:
As a special service it is possible to send an SMS in case of alarm, e.g.
when using a EB2000MC as converter (MODEM 2000 HS or MODEM 3000 GSM
requirable).
You will automatically receive a message on your handy, e.g. when temperature
rises above a certain level.
One or two alarm outputs of the EB2000MC are being connected with the alarm
input of the MODEM. In case of alarm a prepared message is being sent as SMS
then. On receiving the message, the measuring values and logger signals can be
read out now, e.g. via GSOFT40 K, for further research for the cause of alarm.
Remote pickup via D1 or D2 Mobile net:
In case there is no local telephone connection or for a mobile setup, remote
pickup is also possible via wireless MODEM . The MODEM 3000 GSM supports
the D1 and D2 net and works as mobile telephone with integrated MODEM.
Common SIM-cards are being used. The only necessity is a permission for
data transmission by the net provider
