The GSG Geologie-Service GmbH (subsequently also "GSG" or "we") focusses their behaviour onto the principle of avoiding and economy of data.
This means that we try to collect, to process and to use as few personal data as possible.

This data privacy statement shall inform the user of this web page about kind,  volume and purpose of collection and use of data related to persons by the operator of the web page, the GSG Geologie-Service GmbH, acc. to Federal Data Protection Act and Telemedia Act

1. Personal Data and Agreement

Using our web pages is usually possible without indication of any personal data. As far as this is requested for the justification, execution or termination of a customer relation, we will demand, process or use your personal data. Beyond that we will save personal data only, if they are given by the visitor of the web page explicitly and voluntarily, e.g. if the visitor of the web page to be registered for special areas of the web page. The information obtained by this are used by us exclusively for their corresponding purpose observing the valid legal regulations; a further use occures with your agreement only. If you send us enquiries via our contact form your data out of the enquiry form, the contact data given by you incl., will be memorised by us for the purpose of handling the enquiry and in case of following questions. We won't forward these data without your agreement.

5. Newsletter

Dispatch of newsletters is treated very restrictively at the GSG, since we don't want to incommode you. If you wish to receive information this way, we request an E-Mail address from you as well as the information necessary to check-up that you are the owner of the E-Mail address noted and that you agree with the receipt of the newsletter. Further data won't be collected by us.
These data are exclusively be used for sending the information requested and won't be forwarded to third parties.

The data are generally be collected, processed and used by GSG themselves, especially if we assure this, but in certain cases your data will be collected, processed or used by partners or providers being in a business relationship with us. In the cases last-mentioned, however, we will work towards that the relevant legal regulations of data privacy and the obligations resulting from this data privacy statement will be observed. In particular we won't sell your data or utilise in a similar way. We will meet our legal and governmental obligations of information and in these cases forward the corresponding data to governmental sites.

10. Principles of Security

In order to protect the data of our employees / customers / supplyers memorised at the GSG from casual manipulations, loss, destruction or access of unauthorised persons we took corresponding technical and organsational measures. The levels or safety are permanently checked in cooperation with safety experts and adjusted to new security standards.

Secure Socket Layer (SSL)

As far as technically possible we use for reasons of safety and for protection of the transfer of confidential contents, like e.g. during an order transaction, a secure socket layer. You are recognizing a codifyed connection by the change of the address line of the browser from http:// to https:// and by the key symbol in your browser line.

If the secure socket layer is activated, data you are transferring to us cannot be read along by third parties.

11. Links to other Providers

Our web page contains - clearly recognisable - also links to the web presences of other enterprises. As far as there are links to web pages of other provides we haven't got any influence to their contents. Therefore we deny any guarantee or liability for these contents. The provider or operator of those sites is always responsible for the contents. The pages linked were checked at time of linking for possible statutory violations and recognisable rights violations. Contents contrary to law couldn't be realised by us at time of linking. But a permanent check of contents of the pages linked cannot be expected without any indications of a rights violation. When realizing any rights violation, such links will immediately be removed.

12. Right of Information and Deletion

Upon request we will inform you as soon as possible which personal data about you are memorised at us. If, despite our careful behaviour concerning your data, wrong information should be memorised, we will improve them on demand.
